Introducing the founder 

Katie-Jeyn Romeyn is a best-selling author and a career acceleration expert.  As the founder of Coach on Collins, she helps CEO's and executives of companies create sustainable employer of choice cultures and provides transformational career and leadership coaching to CEO's, executives and ambitious leaders to help you achieve then exceed your career and business goals.

Before launching Coach on Collins, Katie-Jeyn had a 15-year career in the mining industry with WMC Resources, Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton and St Barbara. She started as a mine site administrator and created her own 'career acceleration' story by quickly progressing to executive leadership ranks and then became an award-winning executive. Her most recent corporate role was Executive General Manager People & Business Services with St Barbara, an ASX-listed gold explorer and producer.

The question Katie-Jeyn got asked the most was...  how did you do that?  How did you accelerate your career so quickly?.  Because of this question and Katie-Jeyn's passion to help ambitious leaders succeed, Coach on Collins was born.

Katie-Jeyn also has a passion for human resources-related work supporting CEO's and executives in succeeding at the right work to continuously improve whole-of-business performance.  She draws on a depth of experience and has created Employer of Choice SolutionsTM  which provides both the support and a roadmap for companies to create an Employer of Choice culture.   ​

In seven years at St Barbara, Katie-Jeyn led the Human Resources division of the company to create a sustainable Employer of Choice culture.  Consequently, the overall pay equity gap reduction from a staggering 43% in 2007 to 11.4% in 2014. This result out-performed the mining sector’s gap of 23.8% in 2014 and the Australia’s national gap of 18.2%.  As a result, St Barbara won national and state awards and was a recipient of the 2014 Workplace Gender Equality Agency’s 'Employer of Choice for Gender Equality'.  This work that Katie-Jeyn initiated and implemented from 2007 has continued well after she left the Company in late 2014 and St Barbara won both national and state awards again in 2017 and has been awarded the Employer of Choice citation in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

In late 2016, Katie-Jeyn co-authored the best-selling book, The Success Blueprint with Brian Tracy (Best-Selling Author, International Speaker and Entrepreneur) where she reveals keys to career acceleration success in both operational and corporate worlds.   Her story is inspirational as well as educational, she exposes just five of the hard-won Secret Success Principles which elevated her career from front office admin to executive level in record breaking time, which you can apply to your own circumstances.
